About AEB
The Spanish Banking association (AEB) is a professional association open to all Spanish and foreign banks operating in Spain. The membership of the AEB is voluntary but the vast majority of banks operating in Spain are members of the association.
The AEB was established in 1977 under the law governing professional and trade associations. It is a legal entity with its own assets. Its members pay annual fees proportional to their dimensions and activities.
