General description of the error:

The format of the error message: cvc-elt.4.1: The value ''{2}'' of attribute ''{1}'' of element ''{0}'' is not a valid QName.

Possible causes for this error:

• Type given for the element in payment file is different from the type that is defined in the schema.
• Element attribute (for example "xsi: type=...") is not defined in the used namespace.

 

An example

<Ccy xsi:type="xs:string">AAA</Ccy>

 

 

Error message: Error cvc-elt.4.1: The value 'xs:string' of attribute 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance,type' of element 'Ccy' is not a valid QName.

How to fix:

The error can be corrected by correcting the type for the element to one defined in schema.

<Ccy xsi:type="ActiveOrHistoricCurrencyCode">AAA</Ccy>

 

 

In most cases there is no need to use a separate type declaration as element attribute and it can be removed.

<Ccy>AAA</Ccy>
