    Notice! This page describes the nature of the error using a hypothetical example and not the erroneous data of the input test file. You should however be able to apply this information to your error case.

    General description of the error:

    The format of the error message: cvc-enumeration-valid: Value ''{0}'' is not facet-valid with respect to enumeration ''{1}''. It must be a value from the enumeration.

    Error description in schema standard: http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xmlschema11-2-20060217/datatypes.html#cvc-enumeration-valid

    Possible causes for this error:

    • The value given for the element is not in the enumerations list for the element which is defined in the schema.

    An example

    <PmtTpInf>
      <InstrPrty>DAVE</InstrPrty>
    </PmtTpInf>

    Error message:Error cvc-enumeration-valid: Value 'DAVE' is not facet-valid with respect to enumeration '[HIGH, NORM]'. It must be a value from the enumeration.

    How to fix: The value for 'InstrPrty' must be replaced with a valid value from the enumerations list in the schema. In this case it's either HIGH or NORM.

    <PmtTpInf>
      <InstrPrty>HIGH</InstrPrty>
    </PmtTpInf>
